Father’s Day is right around the corner and I know many of us are still looking for that perfect gift to celebrate dad. I’ve got a round-up of gifts for the outdoorsy dad in your life. A lot of these gifts are my husband’s favorites, wishlist items, and even what I’m buying for Father’s Day! This list doesn’t have to be just for Father’s Day though. These outdoor gadgets make great gifts year-round! This gift guide for outdoorsy dads has a little something for any dad that you’re shopping for.

Gifts for Under $25
NRS Straps: They may look small, possibly insignificant even, but NRS straps have so many purposes! When my husband was on the podcast recently, he shared that his favorite piece of gear is his NRS straps. He uses them for the boat, tying down gear on the roof, creating shelters for camping, hanging bear bags, holding objects in places, and even as a belt. The possibilities are endless! These straps come in a variety of lengths. We find that the most important lengths are the 4 foot and 3 foot straps. Although, a 12 foot and 20 foot strap are essential for hanging bear bags and creating shelters!

The Columbia PFG shirt provides UPF 30 Sun protection, making it a fantastic shirt for dads in the summer. The lightweight fabric stays cool and comfortable, even on the hottest days. Its quick try material dries quickly after a day on the boat. This is one of my favorite shirts for my husband because it gives my redhead husband additional protection to keep his fair skin covered while enjoying all his favorite water sports.

The Coleman stove is a camping classic. Built for longevity, getting dad this stove ensures he’s got a great spot to cook up the next camping breakfast! We’ve had ours since the early days of our relationship when we spent a summer camping and using this stove on the daily.
The ALPS Mountaineering Dining Table is the ultimate camping table! It rolls up easily and stores small, making space in your car or camper. It is sturdy, yet lightweight, being made out of aluminum. If the dad in your life is anything like my husband, he kind of tends to take over the cooking while we’re out camping. This table is fantastic for the Coleman stove and makes a great prep space.
Gifts Over $100
Every outdoorsy dad needs a good Leatherman multitool. This one features 21 tools in 1! It’s going to keep dad covered in every situation that may come up while out camping, on the trail, or fishing off the boat.
The Osprey Stratos is built to last! My husband has been sporting this 36 L backpack since I met him over 12 years ago. Still going strong and in great shape – this backpack makes a fantastic day pack, weekend backpacking bag, travel pack, and a pack out bag for the ski day. Every outdoorsy dad needs a good backpack, and this one is definitely a keeper!
NRS Lifejacket: Every dad needs a good lifejacket that will provide security on the water, while not compromising comfort.
